January 10, 2018This is the most insufferable thing I’ve ever read. (OK, maybe not THE most insufferable, but it’s in the top 5 at least.) Of course, it involves the Kardashians.
Now, I’m not interested in the dynamics of Kim and Kanye’s relationship. The less I know, the better. I think they’re both total egomaniacs, and I think it’s amazing that they’re still married. Kim’s first marriage lasted what? 72 days?
*correction– Kim’s SECOND marriage lasted 72 days. She was married to Damon Thomas before*
Like I said. It’s a miracle they’re still together.
Now to the article. Apparently, Kanye West takes Kim’s fashion choices VERY seriously. One time, he flew to France for 24 hours specifically so he could “style his wife.” He was all, “You can’t see everything through the FaceTime.”
It gets worse. Kanye is SO worried about her fashion choices that he emails her memos. He recently told her that she can no longer wear big glasses. Those are out. It’s a fashion faux pas now.
Finally, on Sunday night’s episode, we found out that in addition to closet makeovers and personal styling appointments, Kanye sends trend memos to his wife as well.
“[Kanye] sent me a whole email like, ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore. It’s all about tiny little glasses,’” Kim tells Kourtney and Jonathan Cheban in the episode, referring to those teeny-tiny Matrix-like sunglasses the Kardashians have been wearing lately.
Tiny glasses like this, I guess.
For the record, I love big, obnoxious glasses. Cat-eye are my favorite. I HATE small glasses and look terrible in them. So I guess I’m out of style now, according to Kanye.
In fact, as she recounted this story over lunch, Kim wore a pair hand-selected by her husband. “He sent me like, millions of ’90s photos with tiny little glasses like this,” she added.
Kanye’s Matrix memo must have made it to Kendall and Kylie as well, who included a similar style of sunglasses in Drop 2 of their joint collection. Kourtney was also clearly taking notes that day, too.
Ladies. Can you imagine having a husband who’s SO OBSESSIVE that he takes the time to send a crap ton of photos of what you should be wearing? And men, can you imagine DOING that?
I just tried to picture my dad lecturing my mom about her fashion choices and almost spit out my coffee.
Sorry, but I’ll never take fashion advice from a guy who thinks these shoes look good.
And let’s not forget about Kanye’s clunky, hideous Mud Rat 500’s.
They are ASSAULTING MY EYES.
I’d also like to note that this is the same dude who wore these and thought they were cool.

Kanye and Kim are insufferable, and no one should take advice from them ever– not even fashion advice.
