November 24, 2017I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! Mine was super chill. I basically ate every kind of potato on the planet, and I have #noregrets. (BTW– my chocolate pumpkin pie was the BOMB.)
Football was on in the background most of the day. I watched “Elf” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” in passing. I ended the day with pie and board game (I think it’s called “Say Anything”). Before my day officially “started,” I tried to run on the treadmill (yes, I am that person) and watched part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I’ve never seen it in person, but last winter, I went to Universal Studios and watched THEIR version of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. (It’s the same floats and stuff, for the most part, and it was awesome.)
But back to yesterday’s ACTUAL Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Apparently, a handful of Dreamers decided to disrupt it by sitting in the middle of the road in protest, because #bravery or something.

To anyone criticizing the @seedproj because they disrupted the #MacysDayParade , THATS LITERALLY THE POINT. The rescission of DACA & TPS disrupted our lives. Unfair & inhumane deportations disrupt lives. Not to mention how this holiday began with oppression, slavery & genocide

Do they really think that’s going to make us sympathize with them? Sorry, but interrupting a family event to make a stupid political point is NOT the way to garner sympathy. It’s annoying.
