October 14, 2017If you keep up with Jeopardy happenings, you’ll know that some dude named Austin Rogers has been taking the show by storm by breaking a bunch of records and APPARENTLY ruffling some feathers.
Since Jeopardy!’s beginning in 1984, host Alex Trebek has never seen a contestant quite like Austin Rogers. Not only did he win more money faster than anyone — a total of $411,000 in just 12 days — he had a refreshingly oddball personality even Trebek said was “completely different from what many viewers expect.”
On air, Rogers and Trebek were arguably exact opposites. “He’s gotta be the stern taskmaster who can occasionally throw in a sarcastic quip. I’m the unruly yet worthy student who’s the class clown but also excels,” the fan-favorite told New York Magazine. “That was the role we played as antagonists and protagonists.”
Anywhoo…. Rogers finally lost to some lady…. BUT… he went out in a blaze of glory. He got Trebek to say a naughty word…. and put a REALLY weird image in everyone’s head.

Gonna be honest, I’ve watched this a few times now… I get giggly watching Trebek saying “dick tree.”
Also, can you imagine that abomination flapping in the breeze?! NAST.
