The left has decided to use the tragedy in Vegas to push against completely unrelated legislation they don’t like. They’re currently pushing back against a proposal, which would treat suppressors “like firearms — requiring only a federal background check.”
“This legislation will ensure access and opportunity for hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting now and for future generations,” the NRA stated. “It will also reform existing provisions of federal law in support of law-abiding gun owners. It will remove antiquated and unnecessary restrictions on acquiring firearm sound suppressors. It will protect those who travel with secured, unloaded firearms. It will reign-in the abusive practices of anti-gun bureaucrats. And it will open up millions of more acres of federal land to the carrying of firearms for self-defense. ”
Libs are freaking, even though bill isn’t even scheduled.
