As I mentioned this morning, President Trump put out a series of Tweets in criticism from San Juan Puerto Rico’s mayor.
Catch up on all of that HERE.
As I said before, Trump criticized the leaders, not the people, of Puerto Rico, and to be perfectly honest… a lot of Puerto Rico’s leadership IS questionable.
But that doesn’t matter at all, does it?
He’s already receiving MAJOR backlash from them, but one narrative in particular stands out as rather laughable.
Can you even IMAGINE if during Katrina GWB called New Orleans lazy & made it about his image? (I realize no bc GWB would’ve never done that)

HA!
They would have treated him the exact same way as they did? https://t.co/ibcAUEyzsR

Right, “WTF we love Bush now”. Get bent.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) September 30, 2017
They still called him Hitler. What ur point again?

Meanwhile in 2032 ( under Republican President). Could you imagine Trump doing something this terrible he wasn’t bad, we liked him

Are you kidding with this? I guess you forgot all the Hitler Bush comparisons liberals and the msm made.

Can you even IMAGINE GWB having to defend himself against false allegations of racism? https://t.co/7FFq36SJ4j

I mean…. surely I’m not the only person who remembers this:
“GEORGE BUSH DOESN’T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE.”
Classic.
And when it comes down to it… Maybe Bush SHOULD have been harder on local leadership during Katrina.
Ray Nagin (among other locals) should be in prison for murder for his handling of Katrina. This really is not a road you want to go down.
— Richard DeCamp (@richdecamp) September 30, 2017
In hindsight, he had the right to say that.
— JWF (@JammieWF) September 30, 2017
In hindsight, he should have said that. Not like the racist smear was avoided by taking the high road
— Jeb Bos (@BigJebBos) September 30, 2017
In a nutshell…. damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
