Missouri Dems Want State Senator Who Called For Trump’s Assassination To Resign

As I told you a few days ago, Democrat Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a wackjob State Senator from Missouri, said she “hoped Trump would be assassinated” on a public Facebook post.

Yeah. She really did that. A State Senator.

Her response to the obvious backlash was to say that black people should get “respect” and that she had been traumatized by Trump….so of course it was TOTALLY FINE for her to want him assassinated.

Despite calls for her resignation, she has firmly stated she has no plan to do so.

Well, Missouri Dems are realizing just how bad that it makes ALL look to look the other way…. so they’re speaking out against her.

According to the Washington Examiner:

The Missouri Democratic Party called for the resignation of the state senator who said she hoped President Trump is assassinated.

 

“State Senator [Maria] Chappelle-Nadal’s comments are indefensible,” Missouri Democratic Party Chairman Stephen Webber wrote in a statement on Sunday. “All sides need to agree that there is no room for suggestions of political violence in America – and the Missouri Democratic Party will absolutely not tolerate calls for the assassination of the President.”

 

“I believe she should resign,” Webber added.

 

Earlier, in a now-deleted comment in a thread on her private Facebook page, Chappelle-Nadal, a Democrat, said she wished Trump would be killed to put an end to his presidency.

 

Chappelle-Nadal told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch she wrote the remark in response to her and another commenter’s pent-up frustration with Trump’s handling of the Charlottesville, Va., violence.

 

Despite calls from U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.; U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-Mo.; and other high-profile Missouri Democrats for Chappelle-Nadal to step down, she has insisted that she will continue to serve the remainder of her term.

I hope to GOD they grow some balls and have this psycho removed.
