New Poll Shows That Americans Trust The Trump Administration More Than The Media

Excuse me… I need this here –

For all the bellyaching and whining from the media that the Trump White House is being MEEEEEEEEAN to them and treating them unfairly – it certainly looks like Trump and company know what they’re doing.

According to this, a new poll shows that Americans trust what they hear from the Trump administration a lot more than they trust what they hear from the mainstream media. Granted, the highest percentage that trust is only at 53% – but still, that’s pretty significant –

According to the poll, “The Trump administration is considered truthful by 49% of voters, to 48% of voters who consider it untruthful. Meanwhile, the news media is considered untruthful by a 53%-majority of registered voters, to only 39% who find them truthful (a 14-point gap).”

The real fun begins when you start looking at the respondents’ politics. Democrats believe the news media is honest at a rate of 69% percent. But when you ask Republicans – 91% find the news media to be untruthful.

Oh gee… I wonder how that could be… It certainly couldn’t be DECADES of the mainstream media attacking Republicans and right-wingers as backwards racist idiots who hate children and the elderly and who want to put black people back on the plantation? It’s not like the media has EVER mischaracterized right-wingers opinions on small government and taxation and gun control and religious freedom.

Yeah, I’m not surprised in the least by that 91%. You ignore and even attack a certain group of people for so long, they’re just going to stop listening to you. And then the media has the unmitigated GALL to act surprised when they find out that they’ve alienated more than half the country.

And just as a footnote – independents aren’t too thrilled with either the White House or the media, though they trust Team Trump about 3% more than they do the media. So, even with squishy moderates, the media still comes in second.
