Denmark To Allow Migrants To Keep Child Brides

So much for assimilation.

According to that sourcelink, authorities in Denmark have decided that upholding Danish law, which makes the legal minimum age for marriage 18, violates the basic human rights of migrants. You see, a bunch of these migrants have child brides, and by preventing migrant men from keeping their child brides, they’re breaking up families and therefore violating “the right to family life” guaranteed by the European convention on human rights.

So basically, Denmark is allowing migrant men to keep their 14-year-old wives, because breaking up the couples would be meeeeaaan and selllllllfish and intolllllllerant. After all, it’s not their fault that we don’t understand their culture.

Right now, there are at least 27 minor migrants married in Denmark. Two of them are 14-year-old girls. One of them was pregnant upon her arrival. It kind of poses a problem for Denmark, as the age of consent is 15 for the rest of the population. Violators can face up to 8 years in prison. Apparently, that’s not going to apply to migrants, which begs the question. If a migrant sexually assaults a non-migrant minor, will he be in trouble? How will they deal with the conflicting rules?

Marriage exceptions have already been granted to 15-year-olds, but the immigration service’s ruling set a new, younger precedent. According to the Times, the Danish immigration service wrote in an official response to a parliamentary inquiry:

 

“In some of these cases it has been assessed that it would not be compatible with Denmark’s international obligations to maintain the separate living quarters, thus these couples have been offered housing together”.

Aw, look at them compromising.

Josephine Fock, an MP for The Alternative party who campaigned on the issue, welcomed the move.

“We are talking about people who have fled to Denmark who are being split from each other. Some of them have children together and investigating individual [asylum] cases takes an unbelievably long time,” she said.

These are the same morons who are completely dumbfounded by the influx of sexual assault cases in Germany and surrounding areas. When you pander to these people and allow them to believe that it’s acceptable to impregnate 14-year-old girls, what do you expect to happen?

The most ridiculous part of this story? The fact that authorities decided that they were violating the migrants’ basic human rights. Really? Migrant Muslim men are entitled to keep child brides now? That’s a basic human right?
