Are You Part Of The Reason That People Are Missing Out On Thanksgiving With Their Families?

If you’re shopping on Thanksgiving Day, you’re part of the reason.  FYI.

Now, I’m not saying companies don’t have the right to be open on a holiday if they want to be open. I’m saying that it’s this culture of INSANITY that we live in, this need for instant gratification, that ends up requiring them to be if they want to remain competitive. And that kinda sucks for them. And especially for their employees.

I have never ever ever shopped on Thanksgiving or the day after. For years, I’ve avoided shopping on the weekend after. It’s too crazy out there, and besides, I don’t understand why people face the trampling crowds when it’s just as easy to shop online from the comfort of a couch.

Anyway, I get that people have family traditions of shopping on Black Friday and whatnot. I will never understand the appeal, and will never believe that the bargains are worth the hassle, but I know some people love it.
