WATCH: Stacey Abrams claims protecting babies from abortion is bad for business
Comedian Sarah Silverman is accusing Vice President Mike Pence of “lying” about the left’s staunch stance on abortion.
It all began after Pence tweeted about the Focus on the Family’s campaign– “See Life Clearly”– which involved displaying a 4-D ultrasound of a baby in Times Square.
As Democrat Governors in NY & VA advocate for late term abortion & even infanticide – & Democrats in Congress refuse to allow a vote on the Born-Alive bill – TODAY in Times Square an ultrasound will be shown for all to see, demonstrating the miracle of life. #AliveFromNewYork

Democrats overwhelmingly refused to support Sen. Sasse’s Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would’ve brought about penalties for practitioners who refuse to save a baby in the event that it’s born alive in a botched abortion. It would’ve required a practitioner to “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”
Democrats overwhelmingly refused to support it, citing existing laws that criminalize infanticide.
However, there’s no question that the waters are muddied. No one can seem to agree on what constitutes “murder” when it comes to unborn children. If a woman can legally terminate her child moments before it comes through the birth canal, what changes seconds later? New York’s Reproductive Health Act guarantee’s a woman’s “right” to access “safe, legal” abortion, but it continues to be unclear where they draw the line.
As for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, if there are already laws against infanticide and you’re against infanticide, why wouldn’t you just support the measure for, well, good measure?
