There’s A New Way To Measure How ‘Skinny’ You Are, And It’s RIDICULOUS
If everyone could stop doing this, that would be great, thanks.
The pressure is on. It’s been on, and there’s absolutely no middle ground. First society was telling us that we MUST be sickly skinny in order to look like a “woman.” The result of that? The body positivity movement, in which we’ve gone off the deep end altogether and are now celebrating obesity and cloaking it under the hashtag #BodyPositivity.
Why can’t we find the middle ground here?
It looks like we’re swinging back to the whole “skin and bones is beautiful” thing. At least, judging by the latest bizarre challenge.
Basically, “super hip” people are measuring how skinny they are by seeing how many fish they can fit into their collarbone areas. I kid you not.
Word has it this idea started in China, because of course it did.
I don’t know why we’re doing this, but just so you know, the fish would most definitely drown on my neck.
Happy Monday. Bleh.
