Things You Should Know That You May Not Know That We Want You To Know.

It’s been awhile since we’ve alerted you to a few things that you should probably know about, if in fact you’re a regular reader of this site.

First of all, we continue to get messages on our Facebook wall, practically daily, from people who say stuff like this:

Lately, I’ve simply responded with this link, because it says everything you need to know about how to help get us back in your newsfeed.  Facebook is seeing to it that our site’s reach is significantly reduced, and has been for months.  So the single most important thing you can do is to STOP RELYING on Facebook to get you to our site.  Just visit here directly at least once a day, and you’ll see every last bit of content.  Easy peasy.

“But Mock!” some of you might say, “I hate coming to your site because you have advertising on it!”  And I feel you.  I truly do.  I hate advertising too, except when I know it’s how websites I love continue to be able to exist, and then I feel better about it.  We have two amazing young writers (Hannah and Kimber) who we’d like to keep, and in order to do that, we have to pay them Actual Money.  I KNOW, RIGHT?  THEY ARE SUCH DIVAS.

Kidding.  They’re legit, amazing writers who deserve good compensation.  And advertising is the way that happens.

“But Mock!” some of you might say, “I still love you guys but I hate advertising so much – what am I supposed to do?”

“But Mock!” some of you might say, “I am totally fine with your ads, and/or I am already a subscriber to an ad-free version of your site, but I desperately want you to record a special video message JUST FOR ME (or for someone I love)!  How can I get you to do that?”

YOU GUYS I AM SO STOKED TO BE ABLE TO TELL YOU THAT IS A THING NOW!

We were invited to join a website called Cameo. There’s an associated Cameo app for your phone as well.  And if you take a look at that site, you’ll see that you can choose to receive or gift someone with a video message from all sorts of people – actors, singers, sports figures, etc. etc.  And look!  If you search for Chicks on the Right, you’ll see this!

That’s us!  Right there on Cameo!  In fact, we fulfilled our first ever birthday greeting request Friday morning, and already received a message from the requester that she knew the person she was gifting the video message to was gonna love it.

We were asked to record an introduction message as well, which you can see right here (shared from our IG page which you should totally follow):
