I’ve never understood the concept of someone moving somewhere and then trying to make it like the place they left. Sure, there are going to be certain parts of their culture they might cherish and want to maintain, but they should ultimately like the place they’re going and adapt to their new way of life.

And this doesn’t just apply to moving to the United States from another country—it counts for those moving states, too. We’ve seen it all too many times. Liberal leaves blue state because it is garbage. Liberal moves to red state because it rocks. Liberal continues to vote blue, then promptly ruins red state. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Judge Judy’s advice is common sense. If an immigrant doesn’t like how the United States operates, there are 194 other options to choose from.
