Terror In Toronto: Witness Says Van Driver Was Hitting People ‘One By One’

Something terrible just happened in Toronto. A driver plowed a van into pedestrians. We don’t know how many people were struck (I’ve heard it’s at LEAST eight) and we don’t know if it was deliberate or accidental.

Global News journalist Jeremy Cohn said there were “bodies all over” the street and some people had been pronounced dead.

“I’ve now walked up Yonge St from north of Sheppard to Finch. I have passed multiple dead bodies covered up, shoes and debris in the road. Witnesses tell me the white van appeared completely out of control,” Cohn tweeted.

The full interview is much longer. He said the driver hit people “one by one.” Word has it the driver even hit a woman pushing a baby in a stroller.

Eye witness telling local TV the driver was driving at least 70 or 80km an hour on the sidewalk. Witness in tears said driver was “crumbling up people” “this person was intentionally doing this”
