I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Sen. Dianne Feinstein has absolutely no idea what she’s talking about.
"A handgun [wound] is simply a stabbing with a bullet. It goes in like a nail." With the high-velocity rounds of the AR-15, "it’s as if you shot somebody with a Coke can." https://t.co/xkyw3pEtjn #BanAssaultWeapons

Feinstein is showing her obvious ignorance of ballistics. For starters, there’s more than one type of handgun round. This is a gross generalization. We’re not talking about shotgun slugs here.
Dianne doesn’t know what she’s talking about AT ALL. She’s utterly clueless. She just wants you to know that handguns are gentle and meek and mild and AR-15s are MASS DEATH MACHINES.
It’s the most popular sporting rifle in the country. There are an estimated 15 million in the the hands of law abiding citizens that haven’t killed anyone. Guns aren’t the problem!

Thanks for your opinion Sentator. I’ll make today’s donation to the @NRA in your name.

A rock is an assault weapon. A golf club might be better. A hammer is the most used assault weapon.

Translation: I know nothing about guns, knives, ballistics or stab wounds. Also, ARs aren't the 'weapon of choice' for mass shooters. That lie has been debunked dozens of times over the past few years.

What in the world are you even talking about? Most handgun rounds deposit more energy in the body than a rifle, doing more damage.

Wow. You’ve been on the Senate Intel committee forever and you’re this ill informed. Amazing

This is absolutely, and verifiably, false. Let’s try debating with facts.

If you want to ban the AR-15 it wouldn’t make sense unless you’re also interested in banning every single Semi-Automatic weapon (including handguns) manufactured since it’s conception in 1885.

That’s the thing. That’s their objective. House Democrats are pushing a bill to do so.
Taking away your guns– THAT’S their end game.
