Sen. Dianne Feinstein stepped in it big time. This has to be an accident, because there’s no way she’d say something like this on purpose or out loud, for that matter.
The Republican tax bill caps the mortgage interest deduction at $750,000 for new mortgages. In California, seven counties have average home prices that are more than $750,000: Alameda, Marin, Orange, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. #GOPTaxScam

As you can see, Feinstein is legitimately worried that the GOP tax bill doesn’t help people with home prices over $750,000. (For the record, people with homes worth over $750,000 are usually pretty well off. Dare I say…wealthy. Aren’t those the same people the Democrats want to stick it to? Why is she suddenly worried that the GOP tax bill won’t sufficiently help the rich? Isn’t this a weird argument for a Democrat?
Democrats: this tax plan benefits the rich too much!
Also Democrats: this tax plan doesn’t give enough benefits to the rich! https://t.co/BNwUBt8mRy

Should the super-rich friends of Feinstein pay their fair share? You ppl love progressive taxation.

That is ok those rich people can do without the tax break

Honestly people that can afford a home that expensive fall into AMT and lose most of their write offs anyway. So yeah, the people who buy houses this expensive mostly know they aren’t going to be writing it off.

are you complaining the GOP bill doesn’t help the rich

All San Francisco area counties. Very, very overpriced-I’ve been there. Ask all those illegals that you “sanctuary” to pitch in-you’ll get no sympathy from conservatives. We remember! #KateSteinle

Just goes to show you that @SenFeinstein and @TheDemocrats are the party of the rich. Feinstein is worried about tax breaks for millionaires…

It’s a weird argument coming from a Democrat, huh?
