After Not Being Able to Find ‘A Single Truly Transphobic Message’ Uttered by J.K. Rowling, Freelance ‘Lesbian Writer’ Endorses Her Instead

I’ve been following this whole “J.K. Rowling’s a transphobe” thing from the beginning, so it’s safe to say I’m a little invested…
This is, by far, my favorite development of this sham character assassination. Buckle up…
From the Daily Wire:
E.J. Rosetta, who describes herself as a âlesbian writerâ and has bylines in various LGBT and leftwing publications, was asked to write an article about the famed childrenâs book author J.K. Rowlingâs âtransphobicâ statements. But after several months of research reading her work, Rosetta came to the realization that she shared Rowlingâs position about the importance of protecting womenâs sex-based rights and took to Twitter to share her revelation.
âRight, Iâm done,â Rosettaâs tweet thread began. â3 months ago, I was tasked with writing an article detailing â20 Transphobic JK Rowling Quotes Weâre Done With.â After 12 weeks of reading her books, tweets, full essay and finding the context of these âquotesâ, Iâve not found a single truly transphobic message.â
Rosetta found a new appreciation for Rowling, who she says has been unfairly labeled an âintolerable transphobeâ for standing up for women.
âJK saw the loopholes being created and knew that women needed a voice,â said Rosetta. âSo instead of sitting back and wishing everyone well, said âItâs got to be me, hasnât it?â She did something terrifying and amazing and used her voice, I suspect knowing damn well what was to come. Thatâs bravery.â
Rosetta said that she has been âignoring frantic phone callsâ from her agent âdemandingâ she take the post down, but she said âno.â
When asked what prevented her from coming to this realization sooner, Rosetta answered that âgroupthinkâ played a role in suppressing her critical faculties.
âGroup think, brainwashing and listening unquestioningly to the voices of my LGBT peers over critical thought and doing my own research/thinking,â said Rosetta. â5 years I have spent nodding along while JK was buried, and for that I apologise. Iâm glad to report Iâm thinking for myself again now.â
âShame on those who followed that propaganda without critical thought,â said Rosetta. âYouâre burning the wrong witch. I stand with JK Rowling.â
Good on you, E.J. Rosetta. Acknowledging that you’ve been swept up in the rip current of groupthink happens a lot less than it should. Doing so from a public position, and against the advice of those around you, is a sign of a strong character driven by deeply held morals. It’s what young girls NEED to see.
I will forever be a strong supporter of doing research on the things that matter to you. I LOVE doing it. To such a degree that my career choice is largely based on it. I should actually be doing some right now…
So… it won’t surprise you to know that it simultaneously breaks my heart and sends me into a flying rage when people form their opinions without doing any.
I mean… you do you and all that, but… what are the cons to sounding knowledgeable and coherent? Especially if people, like pro-transgender activists, for instance, claim to feel so much passion for their cause?
Too much work?
Afraid it’ll burst your bubble of inclusion and leave a boo-boo on your feelings?
Welcome to the real world folks… it sucks.
You’re never going to be able to convince everybody that your way is the right way (or the only way). It’ll only hurt you more in the long run anyhow…
You wanna know what happens when you surround yourself with âyes-menâ?
You forget who you are.
How can you be in-touch with yourself if you never question anything? What happens when you move through life when no one challenges you on what you believe? Nothing. Nothing happens.
Growing, especially in an intellectual sense, is an incredibly uncomfortable procedure. Much like it is said that youâre not really trying if you never fail, itâs also true that youâre not really growing if youâre never uncomfortable.
Iâve always believed this assassination of Rowlingâs character was uneducatedly swift at best⌠intentionally dishonest and malicious at worst.
Fighting on behalf of biological women doesnât make you a transphobe. That is all.

Bravo to you LT – very well written!!
Thank you!! đ
I wonder if she’ll also come to the realization that “transphobia” is a highly misused term used more to shut down conversations about possible negative effects going on than it is to point out bigotry.
If she hasn’t already, it’s bound to happen at some point. It’s glaringly obvious, and she’s proved herself to be open to a change in philosophy…
We hear a lot these about kids being taught “critical thinking skills”. What they really mean by that is, only being critical of tradition norms. There is no room to challenge left wing group think. You are to accept left wing thought and ideology or you will be cancelled, condemned, and told to sit down and shut up.
BINGO! If my college experience has taught me anything about critical thinking… it’s that my peers have no idea what it actually is (or how to do it). That makes for some really interesting discussion boards đ
