Leftists Are Talking About Hurricane Ian’s Pronouns

I remember when FEMA released tips for people to prepare for hurricanes during COVID and the FIRST thing on the list was to make sure they got their COVID-19 shots.
Now is the time to review your emergency preparedness plan.

1) Get a COVID-19 vaccine
2) Know your evacuation routes
3) Listen to your local officials
4) Don’t wait until it’s too late to leave
5) Follow @NHC_Atlantic https://t.co/qPlmhbvJ9B
As though getting the vax was somehow going to protect people from the hurricane. Their argument was “protecting yourself and others from COVID-19 while in a disaster shelter.” But really, is that the FIRST thing you should think about when preparing for a hurricane? No. It’s not. But that was their priority.
Consider the threat of COVID-19 as you plan for hurricane season. Getting a vaccine will help protect you and others if you need to go to a public shelter.

As Hurricane Ian moves ever closer to Florida right now, leftists are once again showing their priorities. This time, it’s pronouns and Ron DeSantis. Rachel Vindman thinks it would be funny to use they/them pronouns “to annoy DeSantis,” and Jo, an outspoken radical leftist, would also like to label Hurricane Ian as gay, again to annoy DeSantis and as a jab at the misleading coverage of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill. It basically devolved into insensitive jokes about how best to annoy conservatives generally and Republican Governor Ron DeSantis specifically by essentially sexualizing the hurricane. Weirdly, mixed in with the jokes were a few people who were dead serious about the issue. Meanwhile, people in Florida are preparing themselves for potential devastation as a result of a massive hurricane. Like I said–priorities.

Man, imagine assuming a hurricane’s sexuality. Rachel (from the tweet), Jo, and ProLib are f*cking fascists. When is the Justice Dept. going to raid their homes? Y’know, since that was the claim against Trump, after all.
