A Few Noteworthy Wins For Conservative From Recent Weeks

Y’all, the winds might be changing. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure it could or would happen, but it seems to be starting to happen. Here are a few of the things that have happened recently that indicate the shifting winds.

–Spotify declines to renew the Barack and Michelle Obama podcast.

This news in and of itself is sort of surprising simply because the Obamas can do absolutely no wrong, ever, and are the darlings of the left and the media (but I repeat myself). Even if their podcast was a net negative for the company financially, I would have thought they’d keep them on just as a virtue signal of their support for the leftist darlings. But they didn’t do that. And it’s even more significant considering the huge drama we’ve watched about Spotify platforming Joe Rogan and his “controversial” content. Y’all, they kept Joe Rogan and dropped the Obamas. That’s kind of huge.

–CNN+ shuts down after a single failed month.

Now this one makes me laugh. They poured $300 million into this subscriber content, they poached the pathetic Chris Wallace as a talking head, and the whole thing failed so epically that they are shutting the whole thing down after just a month. No one wants to listen to CNN anymore, much less pay to do so. CNN has lost every shred of credibility they ever had and, predictably, they are totally oblivious to that fact. This is just very validating for those of us who have been watching with disgust as CNN touts themselves as objective and legitimate news. Sort of proves that people are waking up and seeing CNN for what they are, which is hyper partisan political propagandists.

–Netflix and Disney stock values plummet in response to wokeism.

Disney decided to insert themselves into the very center of the culture war and they chose the losing side. They decided to let the minority woke mob dictate their actions, and now they’re losing tens of billions of dollars for it. They’ve lost almost $50 billion in stock value just since March, when video surfaced of company executives explaining how they are saturating Disney content with woke cultural agendas, and when Disney publicly opposed Florida’s majority-supported Parental Rights in Education bill. DeSantis signed a bill revoking Disney’s special self-governing status and eliminating Disney’s “legacy special district” status, which previously afforded them the ability to perform their own zoning, create their own laws, police themselves, and make infrastructure decisions.

As for Netflix, they’ve also lost $54 billion as a result of stock prices plummeting more than 35%, the largest drop since 2004. Apparently, Netflix earning reports showed subscriber losses for the first time in over 10 years. On a related note, Netflix premiered a new show on Thursday all about a man being pregnant. The party of science, ladies and gentlemen. You know, the ones who socially weaponized the term “science deniers.” Turns out people don’t want woke cultural indoctrination while they chill. Netflix and Disney should exchange notes on how going woke leads to going broke.

–Exxon Mobile Corp bans leftist virtue signal flags on main company flagpole outside new Houston HQ.

The massive company just updated their policies to prohibit the display of “external position flags,” such as pride and BLM flags, being flown on their company flagpole. They’ve decided they will only allow the American flag to be flown on their flagpole. Imagine that. I guess they decided that they didn’t want the radical woke minority dictating the representation of their company. Specifically, this means that pride flags won’t be flown during pride month as has been done in the past. And the radical woke minority predictably lost their minds, and subsequently refused to represent the company in Houston’s upcoming pride parade, over which I’m just sure Exxon executives have lost absolutely no sleep at all. But if we’re being objective about this, the policy probably also prohibits a confederate flag from being flown if there was a southern pride month, or a religious flag from being flown if there was a religious pride month, or a MAGA flag from being flown at literally any time, ever. And y’all, the company still allows the display of virtue signaling flags in other areas of their property, including a flag representing the company’s employee pride group. The company just doesn’t want external political positions representing their company on their headquarters flagpole. But to radical woke leftists, anything less than complete devotion to and active support of their agendas is essentially tantamount to violence.
