The Army officially launched the new physical fitness test, which has been in beta testing for some time and which abandons the previous simple 2 mile run/sit ups/push ups test. They say that the new test, called the Army Combat Fitness Test, differs from the previous test in that “it no longer is meant to prepare soldiers for combat but instead built as a general fitness assessment.”
But one of the biggest announcements is this:
“It will also have different scoring standards for men and women across different age groups, in most cases lowering them, following a congressionally mandated report from Rand Corp, a Washington D.C.-based think tank, that found nearly half of the service’s women could not pass earlier standards for the test.”
Stick with me here because this is kind of crazy, but it’s almost like… dare I say it… biological men and biological women have different physical capabilities, and that men have a distinct physiological advantage. Mind. Blown. Who would have ever thought. Not even the woke military industrial complex can deny it.

Part of the new test is deadlifting. For the women, they had to lower the standards to the point that the maximum weight that the fittest female soldier ever has to lift to get full points is the same as for men over 62.
Additionally, the beta tested version of the test had leg tucks, where the soldier was required to pull themselves up on a pull-up bar, hold that position, and tuck their knees up to their chest, as shown in the video below, where there are only men, because women failed this exercise in unprecedented numbers.

So many female soldiers failed the ACFT during beta testing that they made a plank hold an alternative option for those who couldn’t do the leg tucks. Now, leg tucks have been completely eliminated from the test, and replaced with the plank.
“Leg tucks are totally eliminated as the event to measure core strength, with planks taking their place…Previously, the plank was introduced as an alternative event during the ACFT’s beta phase when it was discovered women were struggling with the leg tucks.”
“The leg tuck event has proven the most challenging for many soldiers, particularly women. Early data showed men could perform an average of 8.3 leg tucks, compared to 1.9 for women. As of late 2020, more than half of female soldiers were failing the ACFT.https://t.co/rActp0ojqP

Now, I know this might be controversial to even ask, but are military spouses not at all worried about their soldier being in a situation where they are injured and their healthy female battle buddy is physically incapable of helping them? I know I am, and I know I’m not the only one.
There are incredibly physically capable women out there. And there are also lazy, weak men. But as a general rule, biological men have a distinct physiological advantage over biological women. Our bodies are capable of different things because they were designed to be able to do different things. That’s why an athlete who spends 20 years developing a biologically male body has a distinct advantage over a female body. That’s literally the science. And people wrongly confuse equality with sameness. Our bodies are not the same. Our bodies are not capable of the same things. Men and women are equal, but we are not the same.
