Kim Jong Un Is Getting Missile-Happy Again, So Psaki Offers A Strongly Worded Note In Response.

This administration is so freaking pathetic. 

According to the sourcelink, North Korea launched an intercontinential ballistic missile (ICBM) today – its largest long range missile test EVER.  And yes, this missile has the capability to reach the US.

North Korea smells blood in the water, and that blood in the water is Biden’s total lack of strength on any foreign policy matter.  So of COURSE they’re gonna test long range missiles. And the missile they tested flew 1000 miles higher and 20 minutes longer than the one they fired off in their last tested long range missile – which was ALSO able to reach any part of the US.  Neat.

What was the WH’s response?  A tersely worded statement.

Psaki, who’s home watching the Anna Delvey documentary on Netflix while she recovers from Covid for the 2nd time, wrote in her statement (in part):

‘The United States strongly condemns the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) for its test of a long-range ballistic missile.  This launch is a brazen violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions and needlessly raises tensions and risks destabilizing the security situation in the region. This action demonstrates that the DPRK continues to prioritize its weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs over the well-being of its people.’

She didn’t just condemn the missile test, you guys.  She STRONGLY condemned it.  Which reminded me of this:

Maybe she should try STRENUOUSLY condemning the missile launch? It didn’t work for Demi Moore in A Few Good Men but who knows. Psaki might nail it.

Anyway, North Korea had what the Daily Mail describes as a “self-imposed moratorium on long range testing reached during Trump’s presidency.”  ‘Member when Trump called Kim Jong Un “Rocket Man” and showed him who’s boss?  Good times.

Psaki had more to say in her statement:

‘The door has not closed on diplomacy, but Pyongyang must immediately cease its destabilizing actions. The United States will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of the American homeland and Republic of Korea and Japanese allies. We urge all countries to hold the DPRK accountable for such violations and call on the DPRK to come to the table for serious negotiations.”

So essentially their message to North Korea is this:

Earlier this month, Rocket Man said that he’d be launching a whole bunch of satellites to keep watch on any military movements the US and our allies are making.  So, yeah, if you thought Putin as the only psycho dictator that we need to worry about at the moment, you were wrong.

Aren’t you glad we have such a strong, decisive leader of the free world right now?
