10 Major Airline CEOs Pen Letter To Biden Urging Them To Drop Travel Mask Mandate

Y’all, I’m from the midwest and you know we drive EVERYWHERE. Combine that with us being an active duty military family, my kids and I are expert road trippers. I’ll be like, “Oh, that’s only 12 hours. We can be there in time for games before bed!” Bottom line is, I’d much rather drive than fly, considering the ticket prices for a family of 6. And with all the illogical and unscientific mask mandate madness, it’s not even a question.

But I get it, air travel is essential in today’s America. That’s why I’m happy to see the airlines pressuring Biden to drop the unnecessary mask mandates on airplanes.

CEOs and Presidents from Alaska Air, American Airlines, Atlas Air Worldwide, Delta Air Lines, FedEx Express, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines Holdings, UPS Airlines, and Airlines for America all signed a letter dated March 23, 2022, imploring the President,

“Now is the time for the Administration to sunset federal transportation travel restrictions – including the international predeparture testing requirement and the federal mask mandate – that are no longer aligned with the realities of the current epidemiological environment.”

I mean, they were never actually aligned with the realities of the epidemiological environment, if we’re being totally honest. But they were aligned with the political environment, which has also changed now that the leftist political narrative has shifted.

I’m also curious, have the cargo plane pilots for FedEx and UPS been required to wear masks this whole time? In planes full of inanimate objects? That’s just about as stupid as truckers being required to be vaxxed and wear masks in their trucks all by themselves.

But after so many bailouts, the airlines are really owned by the federal government, so they are totally at the mercy of the Biden Administration.

Of course, mask cultists will decry this plea from the airlines as dangerous considering Fauci just came out of hiding to warn us of continued impending doom, even though the winter of severe illness and death is over, and there are whisperings of new variants abroad. But honestly, how long are we going to let the federal government wield this unjustified and unconstitutional power over us?
