The Vegas Shooter’s brother has been arrested… but it’s not why you think.

It’s for CHILD PORN.

Jeez Louise… nice family, huh?

According to this:

The brother of Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock has been arrested for child porn … TMZ has learned.

 

Bruce Paddock was taken into custody moments ago in North Hollywood, CA at an assisted living home.

 

Law enforcement sources tell us … cops were tipped that there was child porn on his computer and they got a search warrant. Our sources say the investigation began before his brother, Stephen, shot up the Vegas music festival earlier this month.

 

Our sources say before the shooting cops were trying to locate Bruce without success, but after his brother committed his heinous act a tip came in Bruce was living at an assisted living facility.

 

Cops say they found child porn images on his computer.

 

The arrest was made by a joint task force that included the FBI and LAPD.

Just to clarify, this is NOT the brother that kept talking to the media… this is the other one. The one with a SERIOUS criminal history.

As you may remember, Bruce Paddock has quite the rap sheet…

The younger brother of Stephen Paddock has a rap sheet of a hardened criminal … light-years different from the brother who slaughtered dozens of innocent people.

 

Bruce Paddock currently lives in California, but he’s led a nomadic life. TMZ has pulled court docs which show he’s been a regular in the criminal justice system. Among his arrests …

 

— Criminal threats
— Arson
— Vandalism
— Petty theft
— Burglary
— Weed
— Driving on a suspended license
— Contempt

 

It’s unclear how many of these resulted in convictions. We know for sure the 57-year-old was convicted of petty theft with a prior, and vandalism.

Their father was on the FBI’s Most Wanted list for bank robbery.

Really not the best bunch of people…
