I guess this is where we are now. People are allowed to be blatantly racist and hateful to police officers simply because of the uniform they wear.
Watch this Florida teacher launch a vicious and racist verbal attack when she gets pulled over and cited for using her cellphone while driving.
NEW: “You’re always gonna be a Mexican, you’ll never be white, you know that?”
A Latino LASD deputy sent me his bodycam video of a woman claiming to be a teacher launching into a racist tirade against him when he pulled her over in San Dimas. She repeatedly calls him a murderer. pic.twitter.com/Cc8jSVenCQ— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) May 3, 2021
The police officer, who has been on the job for 14 years, explained that he purchased his own body camera to “protect himself from false allegations” made by the hostile public he has sworn to protect. And now that body camera footage gives us a glimpse into how he (and other officers across the country) are being treated.
As the video begins, the woman can be heard telling the officer,
“I started to record because you’re a murderer.”
This would not be the only time in the video that she accused him of being a murderer.
The officer maintained impeccable composure and treated the hateful woman with respect while explaining that she “can’t be on your cellphone while you are driving.” Upon asking for her license, the woman explains that she doesn’t have her license with her, but says,
“It’s at my apartment, and I am perfectly legal and I am a teacher. So there.”
Yikes! This woman is a teacher? That’s terrifying. This woman is responsible for educating children in this country. If you can, you should be homeschooling.
She is a teacher. Parents have a right to know who she is. https://t.co/idKuAIeKqI

The officer very reasonably asked the woman if she had a picture of her license that he could see since she didn’t have her license with her.
She responds by asking him to call his supervisor. The officer explains that he already called his supervisor. The woman can then be heard saying,
“Good, ’cause you’re a murderer.”
The entire interaction took an even nastier turn when the woman called the officer a “Mexican racist” multiple times.
“Here youv go, Mexican racist. You’re always going to be a Mexican. You will never be White. You know that, right?”
According to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, the woman from the video immediately contacted internal affairs and filed a harassment complaint against the officer.
The LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who is the superior of the unnamed deputy who made the stop, fully supported his officer and expressed pride in the respect and composure maintained by his officer throughout the interaction. He also said that he was “appalled” by what was recorded on the video.
“She claims to be a teacher. I’m not so sure where she is teaching… but if she represents her profession, is that an indictment on her profession and the caliber of people? You have one incident like George Floyd….but some people want to label the entire profession as if everyone was a Derek Chauvin. It shows you that bigotry, racism comes in all, colors and all ages — that’s proof of that right there. If you want to call all of the deputies murderers, unfortunately, you are doing the exact same thing you’re accusing other people of doing against your own kind.”
He makes an excellent point.
So many people talk about “bad apples” in police forces. How the actions of one “bad apple” don’t necessarily reflect the beliefs or actions of police officers generally. But woke progressives would have you believe that they are all bad because a very select few are bad. So the same must be true of her profession, right? By her logic, if one bad cop means they’re all bad cops, then one bad teacher means they’re all bad teachers.
Of course that’s ludicrous. I’m certainly no champion of the public education institution in the United States, but I’ll be the first to tell you that there are so many amazing teachers out there. The despicable actions of this one racist and hateful woman don’t automatically make every teacher in the country a hateful racist. Likewise, the actions of one bad cop don’t automatically make every cop in the country a bad cop.
I wonder if outraged progressives will come after the Sheriff’s job for having the courage to call out this woman’s hypocrisy. I certainly wouldn’t be surprised.
