The Judge Who Blocked The ‘Sanctuary City’ Order? Yeah, He Raised Over $200,000 For Obama.

Big freaking surprise.

Yesterday, we told you of a federal judge named William Orrick from San Francisco (another non-shocker) who blocked President Trump’s latest executive order defunding sanctuary cities.

In yet another twist that ought to surprise nobody, according to this Orrick was a big-time fundraising for Barack Obama, who donated over $200,000 and raised $30,000 more from other sources. Oh, and he issued restraining orders against Center for Medical Progress that were supposed to keep CMP from releasing more videos against Planned Parenthood as well –

The same judge issued a restraining order in 2015 against the advocacy group responsible for undercover videos purporting to show Planned Parenthood employees plotting to sell baby organs.

At the time, The Federalist found that Orrick raised at least $200,000 for Obama and donated more than $30,000 to groups supporting him.

Gee, do you think politics played a role in Orrick’s decision? In this political climate? Do bears crap in the woods?
