Millennial Hipsters Have A Hot New Hashtag For The Crusty Old White Socialist

I’m in Bizarro World. Or the Twilight Zone. PLEASE tell me it’s one of those two options and I can find a way to go home where kids who still need ID aren’t clamoring for an old white dude who backs a political system that’s destroyed whole civilizations and populations.

Apparently, the youngsters who are CONSTANTLY on the right side of history (according to renowned sociology expert Sarah Silverman, anyway) have come up with a hot new hashtag to show support for Bernie Sanders. #FeelTheBern is out. #BernieIsBae is in.

Remember the term Bae? Columbia University actually got in trouble for using it in a poster campaign because it’s RAAAAACIST (of course it is). But that’s not stopping the Youth Of America from turning into it a political prop to get a guy elected who TOTES gonna give them free college and free healthcare and free phones and free housing and free bread (the mold and maggots just come as a bonus, as people in the Soviet Union eventually found out) in exchange for their votes (but nobody tell these kiddos where #FeelTheBern #BernieIsBae REALLY gets his money from)

Gee, I thought cranky old white dudes were the cause of all America's problems. That's what liberals and progressives said in 2008, anyway.

Call me old fashioned, but I STILL don't want some old white man telling me what to do. Certainly not one who thinks Venezuela's economic system is super-awesome.
