August 23, 2017Auntie Maxine is at it again. She held a town hall event in Los Angeles last week and described a bunch of Trump’s administration members as “white-wing nationalist[s].”

“While the president was defending the white-wing nationalists and the KKK and all of those alt-right groups that were basically out there in Virginia literally beating and marching and ranting about Jews and black people, etc., etc.,” she said.
“But, this is what this Cabinet looks like,” she continued.
“But this is what this Cabinet looks like, whether we talk about [Treasury Secretary Steve] Mnuchin or Ben Carson, who’s over at HUD,” Waters added. “If you think reclaiming my time that I did with Mnuchin, you wait ’til Ben Carson comes.”
If it sounds like she suggested that Ben Carson– a black conservative man– is a “white-wing nationalist,” it’s because she suggested that Ben Carson is a “white-wing nationalist.”
