I Need To Talk About The Word “Retarded” And Why Some Chick Wants Me Fired.

So, the other day, Kimber posted about Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder, originally posted by Disclose.tv.  Now, I realize that everyone’s sense of humor is different, but for most folks, who don’t get their undies twisted about every freaking thing (*cough* liberals *cough*), it was nothing more than a break from the usual news, a simple diversion, and that’s it.

Enter Molly.

Molly is a liberal, and so Molly immediately fired off an angry email to us about it.  She wrote:

By “sponsors” Molly meant advertisers on our radio show.  Which, incidentally, is completely separate from this website.   I responded:

Molly was outraged by this response.  But her outrage was unbeknownst to me, until our mutual friend Marcus alerted me to the fact that she was posting her outrage all over her (public) Facebook page.  Here are a couple of key bits:

I have a feeling Joe is a sh*t boss anyway.

This one was particularly ridiculous:

So again, we should point out that “WIBC” didn’t use the TARD acronym.  We did.  Here on our site.  Which we own and operate.   But secondly, we most certainly did NOT use the acronym with “the intention of offending and hurting people.”  That right there is a perfect example of the absolute insanity that consumes the liberal left.  They are humorless, hypersensitive, and let’s be real here – the very REASON for the divisiveness that exists in our country.  It is precisely this kind of perpetual outrage that makes human beings incapable of having Actual Discussions with one another, as we pointed out in our book, Right for a Reason.  They are stifling speech every time they pull this crap, and they’re clueless about the devastating impact that has on our culture.

There’s more hilarity where that all came from, including a whole conversation between Marcus and Molly’s friend Joe.  Joe, in his defense of Molly, used the term “mentally handicapped” which Marcus rightly pointed out has ALSO been deemed offensive by whatever pansy-assed group of people decides on these matters.  Joe proceeded to lose his sh*t like 40 different ways to Sunday, and it’s all there for the viewing (until Molly learns how Facebook works and makes her page private.  But, I’m sure she won’t mind my sharing the link, since she blasts my email address in it for public consumption without a second thought.)

Here’s one more little tidbit.

Well, allow me to save you the library trip, Molls.  Because I’m just going to drop that sub-chapter into this post for you.  For free, even!

Now, all of that will probably just make Molly mad, because liberals cannot STAND when someone has a different opinion.  Nope – they immediately rush to threaten their livelihood, instead of simply asking questions and having the discussion.  They make veiled threats in their initial emails (“I trust your sponsors would agree with me on this one”) and then are horrified when they receive a terse response, so they stomp their feet and run to the safe havens of their social media accounts to seek solace from their similarly morally superior and oh-so-progressive-and-englightened friends, without thinking for a MOMENT that maybe they’re the ones who are being intolerant.

(By the way, Marcus got blocked by Molly in the midst of their discussions. SURPRISE!)

It’s so typical.

I have to wonder if Molly or Joe or any of the other pearl-clutchers on her wall ever giggled at the movies Tropic Thunder, or There’s Something About Mary, or The Hangover, or any of the other countless comedies that made reference to “retards.”  I have to wonder if they enjoyed The Wolf of Wall Street, which also made the reference. I have a sneaking suspicion that they’ve laughed and found humor in things that other people have found offensive.  We all have.  We all have different opinions about what’s funny and what’s not.  AND THAT IS OK.

At least, it’s ok for people who aren’t trying to squelch the speech and the freedom of others.

Molly, on the other hand, wants me to be fired at my radio job for a post made on my website, that never even made the airwaves.

That’s what tolerance looks like in Molly’s world.  It looks like holier-than-thou, high horse, idiotic and yes – retarded nonsense.

I’m sick of allowing these people to dictate what’s appropriate and what’s not.  What are their credentials?  That they take offense to stuff?  I DON’T FREAKING CARE.

This bizarre obsession that liberals have with being offended is yet another reason why they are so absolutely insufferable.   They are EXACTLY why Trump appealed to so many people, who are sick of being silenced by the horrible disease of political correctness.
