Former Miss Iraq Warns Americans About Ilhan Omar – She’s Exporting Sharia Law

Former Miss Iraq, Sarah Idan, has gotten into an online feud with Rep. Ilhan Omar about Omar’s claim to represent Muslims and for sharing in the ideologies of extremist Muslims that are Jihadis, and “want to control the world.”

Idan described herself as part of a group of moderate Muslims who are opposed to Sharia Law and push to reform Islam

Sarah Idan had to flee Iraq after posting a selfie with Miss Israel during the Miss Universe contest in 2017. The selfie lead to she and her family receiving death threats and being warned that she would have the title of Miss Iraq taken away if she did not delete the photo. Iraq and Israel are considered enemies and Idan later issued a statement saying that the photo did not mean she supported Israel and apologized to the people fighting for the “Palestinian cause”. Idan does not regret the post, for it was meant to symbolize that people who disagree can get along, although Iraq clearly was not ready for that message.

Recently, Idan spoke against Ilhan Omar for trying to bring that type of rule to America. Idan stated that Omar exploits progressive sentiments and “feeds off of their sympathy”.

Breitbart reported on her criticisms of Omar:

“Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim — does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East,” Sarah Idan, who lives in the U.S., told “The Sara Carter Show.”

“You know like in Arab countries we call her the Muslim Brotherhood,” she added.

“They are extremist Muslims, Sunni Muslims, who are now working together with Iran against all the Arab countries,” she said. “They’re working now with Hezbollah, with Turkey, with all that. You know, the thing is about this organization, they are extremist Muslims, they’re Jihadis, and they have this ideology that they want to control the world.”

Idan spoke passionately not only about escaping Sharia Law in Iraq, but watching people like Omar bring Sharia Law and the Muslim Brotherhood to Asia and Europe as well. Idan believes that Omar sympathizes with the groups like Hezbollah that are working with Iran and Palestine to make Sharia Law a universal system. Sarah Idan has argued in the U.N. that Iraq does not disagree with Israels policies, but their objections are purely anti-semitic, and she fears that Omar will use liberals to slowly introduce these policies in America.

When Idan tweeted to Omar that Omar did not represent all Muslims, Omar responded that she only represents the people in her district.

When conservative Americans criticize Omar, they are written off as racist and sexist, but Idan is impervious to those dismissals. She grew up in Iraq under the Saddam Hussein dictatorship and after experiencing Sharia Law first-hand, she is trying to warn Americans that she sees the same behavior in Omar.
