Kirsten Gillibrand is not the sharpest tool in the shed. If you’ve followed her political career at all you know that. Probably a nice lady but definitely not a good politician.
This Brett Kavanaugh situation has further exposed that fact.
Recently, she went on camera and said she knows Kavanaugh is guilty of attempted rape because he hasn’t called for an FBI investigation into himself.
Tucker Carlson destroyed her on that scary precedent.
Gillibrand also went on television and attacked Republicans for making up their minds too soon despite the fact she’s already made up her mind.
From The Daily Wire:
Appearing on CNN’s “The Situation Room” with Jim Acosta, Gillibrand said that she believes Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
“And so I believe her,” Gillibrand said. “I stand with her.”
Less than ten seconds later, Gillibrand was complaining that her Republican counterparts had “already made up their minds” about whether they believed Kavanaugh’s accuser “without the benefit of an FBI investigation” — which is the same exact thing Gillibrand did.
What’s wrong with her?
Just she not understand the internet exists?
Also, does she think we don’t know that she was a die hard Clinton loyalist?
Bill Clinton has been credibly accused of sexual assault. To this point, Kavanaugh hasn’t been. Maybe focus a little more on Bill Clinton?
It’s shameful to watch senators like Gillibrand smear a man based off allegations that don’t add up from 35 years ago. But, it’s only going to hurt them long term so there’s not much to worry about. The American people are smarter than this.
