This is definitely the funniest story yet about the reaction of the left to President Donald Trump’s SCOTUS pick, Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Trump selected Kavanaugh at 9 p.m. Monday night as a replacement for the retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.
And, of course, the left was flipping out even before that, saying anyone he would pick would be terrible.
And a lot were at the ready to start pushing out attacks against whoever his choice might be.
Take the leftist Women’s March. Please.
They blasted out a quick statement by email on the selection to hundreds of reporters and supporters, slamming Trump’s nominee as part of Trump’s “patriarchal” and “white supremacist” agenda, among other things.
And naturally, as with everything that the Trump administration does, the statement urgently called for action because the pick was going to cause “thousands of women to die.” Add those to the ones who were supposed to die from Trump’s prior moves at which the left freaked out.
But there was a small problem with the statement. The statement they sent out just had “XX” where the name of the selection was supposed to be. They forgot to add his name in that part of the pre-packaged statement.
And in another part of the email where they did mention the name, they spelled it wrong, calling him “Cavanaugh” rather than “Kavanaugh.”
What more clear example of their bias than that they were going to oppose whoever it was with a canned attack?
From Fox News:
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said the left is going to “resist and obstruct” anything President Trump does and the Women’s March’s gaffe is just another example of it.
“They forgot to fill in the name. It’s so brilliant,” Conway said on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday.
People had great fun with the huge fail.
