Elizabeth Warren Goes Completely Off The Rails — Calls For Abolishment Of The Electoral College

CNN hosted Sen. Elizabeth Warren for a town hall Monday night, and she went full blown extreme.

For starters, she wants to get rid of the electoral college completely.

“We need to make sure that every vote counts. And you know, I want to push that right here in Mississippi. Because I think this is an important point,” Warren said. “My view is that every vote matters. And the way we can make that happen is that we can have national voting and that means get rid of the Electoral College.”

That’s asinine. The Electoral College is a safeguard against mob rule. The Electoral College allows states with smaller populations to have a voice. If not for the Electoral College, we’d be ruled by elites in densely populated coastal cities. Do you want New York and California permanently determining the outcome of the elections? How is that fair to the other 48 states? Do you even understand the Electoral College, bro?

In other news, Warren called for a “full-blown conversation” on reparations.

“I love the idea of this congressional commission,” she said. “I believe it’s time to start the national, full-blown conversation about reparations.”

Again with the insane ideas. Why on Earth should any of us give free stuff to minorities who may or may not have ancestors who were oppressed? GUESS WHAT? If we all go back and trace our ancestry, you’ll likely discover relatives who were oppressed by someone else.

So no. I’m not interested in “paying my dues,” because I have no dues to pay. I didn’t do anything. On the other side of the coin, I don’t expect anyone to pay me for the suffering my ancestors went through.

Wait. There’s more. Warren also wants Mississippi to transition to a new state flag.

“Mississippi’s the only state in the country that still has the confederate battle emblem on the state flag — do you think Mississippi should adopt a new flag?” Jake Tapper asked.

Warren’s response? “Yes.”

Can society please stop pretending she has decent ideas to offer?
