Powerful Plea As Arab Israeli News Anchor Switches To Speaking English On Television

Lucy Aharish is an Arab Israeli news anchor who seized the opportunity to switch to speaking in English in an effort to deliver a very direct and powerful plea to the world.
Aharish opens with, “I’m sorry that I’m using my microphone to send a message to the world. As a journalist, this is my only weapon.”
She provides an overview of how the barbaric events have unfolded over the weekend to now, while ensuring that she defines Hamas as what they are – a terror organization.
“And we, the citizens of the state of Israel, all of us, left and right, secular and religious, Jews, Christians, Druze, Muslims, minorities, and immigrants from all over the world, stand united together in this fight. We are fighting for our lives, for our future, and mostly for the future of our children. Don’t be mistaken. We experiences difficulties, disagreements, and major disputes, like any other country on this globe. But it does not mean that we will not protect ourselves and our children, our homeland. And for everyone out there, who’s not condemning this inhumane massacre, try to imagine for a second that you’re waking up on Saturday morning with your children sleeping next to you, waking up to the sounds of sirens, and then in a split of a second, a terrorist comes into your home, your safe shelter, and starts murdering your family in front of your eyes. Can you imagine that? Look into the victims’ eyes. Look into our eyes, in the eyes of all the citizens of this land, and stand with us on right right side of history.”
She switches to speaking in Hebrew around 15 seconds prior to the end of this clip.

Palestinians are getting what they deserve when they indoctrinate children to hate and kill Jews before even learning to read. Conflict will never end as long as Arab classrooms contaminate young minds. Golda Meir said, “There will be peace in the Middle East only when Arabs love their children more than they hate Israel.”
I stand unapologetically with Israel. May Hashem avenge their blood. My family and I will continuously keep the people of Israel in our prayer’s. May Hashem watch over and keep safe the brave men and women of the IDF as they head into harm’s way to protect all of us.
I cannot believe all the people I have listened too and sites I visited for years who I thought were conservative, who are either outright or closet antisemitic. What is wrong with Americans? This is not who we are. The people who live in Israel and the ones that were murdered or kidnapped are our relatives and friends. I have two grandson’s, my son’s boys, who great grandmother, on their mother’s side, was 4 when the nazis came and murdered her whole family and then tattooed her. About a year ago, I had to answer the question from my 12-year-old grandson about why would they kill people just because they are Jewish like me? I hope these people know that if they start this over here, it will not go good for them.
The people, Hamas, and those who supplied them with material support – every one of them – need to be hunted down and sent to meet their maker ASAP.
I agree, 100%!
