Is there gonna be an instance where the pendulum eventually swings back towards “normal,” or are we just doomed for an infinite downward spiral into lunacy? As a practicing cynical pessimist, I’m gonna say… the odds aren’t lookin’ too hot.

It’s really rare to see a public figure like Lupone reveal how ignorant and completely stupid they are. Anyone who could actually say what she said has absolutely no credibility.
Not rare at all, happens daily.
The difference between the “Christian Right” and the Taliban is that the latter tortures and even kill those they don’t agree with or speaks ill of Muhammad. Plus, they oppress women. Patti Loopy-One doesn’t seem to get out much.
The Christian right tries to persuade to join them in their belief in Christ. The Taliban just kills people who don’t accept their views.

I’ve never heard of this Lupone person and it doesn’t sound like I”m missing much. This is reason number 12,648 why I’d never watch The View. If she can’t tell the difference between the Christian RIght and the Taliban why doesn’t she just put a sign on her back that says, “I”m an idiot”. Who would give her a microphone and tv camera to be so stupid. Oh, I know, other like minded stupid people.
