Representative Matt Gaetz Goes OFF On Karen Bass

United States Representative Matt Gaetz uses his time to express how sick he is of the House Judiciary Democrats in his exchange with Representative Karen Bass.

Y’all should watch and take a listen because it’s almost as delish as The Last Supper.

Rep. Gaetz was simply asking questions about abortion so he could gain an understanding of specific phraseology that was used by Representative Deborah Ross in her description of Bass’s bill. Literally nothing ridiculous about that, right?

Rep. Ross used the phrase “unborn child,” which was confusing to Rep. Gaetz, so he simply wanted to know how Rep. Ross defined that phrase for herself to understand if she, in fact, believes abortion is the termination of a life or not.

Welp, naturally, Democrats get defensive at any verbiage that has the inflection of a question. Next thing you know, they’ll try to cancel the question mark. #cancelculture

Rep. Gaetz stated, “It’s crazy that in this committee, when I’m trying to get honest answers to questions about the effect of the bill, one that paves the way to abortions, that you all want to sit up there and squawk at me rather than allow me to ask questions. When you have the time, you can control the time, how about that? But these are fair questions. [Rep. Ross] used the phrase ‘unborn child.’ I would like to know what that means to her. Because what it means to us is that it is a life.”

Rep. Bass interrupted Rep. Gaetz multiple times with that shrill voice, saying that this was theater, and told him that he should ask Rep. Ross on a break.

God that woman makes me cringe. Just a straight shot from the ear canal and down the spine.

Rep. Gaetz responded with, “I want the answer on the record, Ms. Bass. I want the answer for the American people. Because to all of us . . . we actually think that unborn life is a child, and that there is a liberty interest there that is worthy of our defense, and our protection, and the values that undergird the American Constitution.”
