WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Doesn’t Know Where The “Attitude of Lawlessness” Is Coming From

OPINION | This article contains political commentary which reflects the author's opinion.

Have I mentioned lately that I really hate politicians?

They think they’re better than us, and maybe they are…

After all, they’ve figured out how to get themselves a job where they make a good amount of money for doing absolutely nothing, and they’ll most likely hold that job until their decrepit bodies keel over. Sounds like a sweet gig to me.

One of the things that bothers me most about these career politicians is the fact that they think we, the American people, are stupid.

Enter Nancy Pelosi…

Nancy really thinks that we don’t know what’s going on. She had some words to add to the conversation surrounding the rising crime rates we’re seeing across the country.

Here’s the video:

That was profound, Nancy.

You really don’t know why? Because I think you do.

Could it be because of the way that these blue cities and states are run?

The number of officers that have retired or quit because of hostility from the media and the general public?

The failures of Prop 47 in Nancy’s own state of California?

Or could it be the fact that violent criminals in places like New York City are arrested and put back on the streets again within hours?

I don’t know who Nancy’s trying to kid, but she’s failing in an epic way.

The “attitude of lawlessness” that Nancy is referring to comes from the fact that politicians and lawmakers are enabling it. It’s that simple.

Maybe if there were actual consequences for criminals, then the rates would come down.

To be fair… I’m actually surprised that she addressed this at all. We all know how politicians like to ignore inconvenient subjects until they go away…

Americans are not stupid. We know why crime rates are up, and so do the Democrats. It’s just terribly inconvenient for them to admit, so they’re not going to.

Democrats don’t need to worry about this stuff anyway. From what I hear, Republicans are gonna be in for a real problem in 2022.

I’m looking forward to it.
