A reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, “Does the president still believe that Build Back Better will not add a dime to the national debt?”
Psaki responded with: “Correct. It won’t.”
The reporter rebuttals with the question, “Why should Americans believe that?” To which Jen Psaki acted irritated that he would ask for more information after being given such a vague response.
Psaki said, “Because it won’t.”
Ahh yes, the scholar that Jen Psaki is. She offered up an answer that simply cannot be refuted… which is really a hair’s breadth away from “because I said so.”
I’ll never understand why she acts as though her responses equate to a level of peer reviewed journals.
Riddle me this: if Build Back Better doesn’t cost a dime, not even a penny, why are the Democrats so adamant about raising the debt ceiling?
