Just because you slap the word “package” on the end of it, doesn’t mean the American people are going to perceive it through Christmas lenses.
Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi gets visibly flustered with reporters as she claims that they’re not doing a good job at selling the House Democrats’ $5.5 trillion tax and spend package to US citizens.
Also, didn’t she say the $5.5T bill cost a whopping zero? If I remember correctly, she also showed us via ASL. If that were the case, why would it need to be sold? Hmm, guess it doesn’t cost zero after all.
The reporter asked: “Do you think you need to do a better job at messaging? And going forward how do you sell this –”
Pelosi cuts her off and states: “Well I think you all could do a better job at selling it to be very frank with you. Because every time I come here I go through the list.”
She only listed Family Medical Leave, but whatever.
Pelosi says it’s “hard to break through when you have such a comprehensive package.”
No, it’s not that it’s ‘too comprehensive’ or ‘difficult to digest’ or whatever derivative you wish to utilize. We’re not stupid. It’s that the package is disastrous to the American people.
Nance is over here acting like her stupid tax and spend package is too difficult for us common folk to understand or somethin’. Get outta here.
