Award-Winning Country Singer Releases New Song with Message That Has Conservatives Cheering

Daily Wire reported that RaeLynn, the country music star that brought people award-winning hits like “God Made Girls” and “Love Triangle”, has included a pro-life song on her new album “Baytown”.

The mother to an infant daughter said that the song really “hits close to home”.

RaeLynn announced on Instagram that the new tune titled “She Chose Me”, is a follow through on her promise that she “will always write from the heart and not shy away from the hard subjects”.

“This song is my heart.” added the musician.

“‘She Chose Me,’ one of the tracks on BAYTOWN, hits close to home for me in many ways.” wrote the country star on Instagram.

In an interview with Taste of Country, the pro-life song is described as a story about “‘a Bible Belt-lovin’ believer’ who gets pregnant after an extramarital affair with a man on Galveston Bay and, the lyrics imply, considers getting an abortion” but decides against it in the end.

RaeLynn stated that she wrote a portion of the album while knowing that she was pregnant. Her excitement for motherhood is expressed throughout the album. After arriving to a writing session feeling “super emotional” in January, she penned a song that she described as a “love letter” to her baby daughter Daisy. She disclosed her pregnancy to her fellow writers and together they created “Made for Me to Love”.
