If anything, this is the perfect advertisement as to why our gun rights should not be infringed upon. The right to defend ourselves from government tyranny and other threats (such as the one I’m about to show you) is exponentially important.
On Tuesday, a few dining patrons were minding their own business at the La Creme Cafe on Melrose Avenue when two masked men in hoodies approached them, one of which was wielding a handgun pointed directly at the diners, while the other rifled through their belongings. The dining patrons were visibly shaken and practically frozen while the robbers proceeded to run away with their belongings and shopping bags.
This happened in broad freaking daylight and took under 30 seconds.
A local cafe owner near Melrose Avenue stated that the surrounding areas are becoming increasingly riddled with crime.
According to Fox Los Angeles, one of the suspects has already been taken into custody.
The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Quioness Wilson, was arrested Thursday after police found the vehicle used in the series of robberies.
According to LAPD, Wilson was involved in at least six other robberies; four of which occurred on Tuesday alone.
Detectives searched Wilson’s home and found additional evidence associated with the robberies.
He was booked into the LAPD Metropolitan Division Jail on suspicion of robbery, with bail set at $350,000.
Officers are still searching for the other two aforementioned suspects.
