Doocy Asks Psaki To Further Explain WH Statement That Says Taliban Is ‘Business-Like And Professional’

Fox News journalist, Peter Doocy, asked Jen Psaki to further explain the rationale and intent behind the White House’s released statement that called the Taliban “business-like and professional.”

Business-like? That’s a weird way to say, “The Taliban is calling the shots and we’re ponying up the dough.”

Fox News reported:

The White House said the Taliban have been “businesslike and professional” in their dealings on allowing Americans to leave Afghanistan, calling the dialogue “cooperative” and casting it as a “positive first step.”

The U.S. government said it facilitated the safe evacuation of American citizens and lawful permanent residents from Afghanistan on Thursday on a chartered Qatar Airways flight that safely landed in Qatar.

The White House National Security Council issued a statement on the evacuation from Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, saying the Taliban was “cooperative” in the effort.

“We have been working intensely across the U.S. government to ensure the accuracy of the manifest and the safe departure and transit of the aircraft, and today’s safe flight is the result of careful and hard diplomacy and engagement.”

“The Taliban have been cooperative in facilitating the departure of American citizens and lawful permanent residents on charter flights from HKIA,” NSC spokeswoman Emily Horne said in a statement.

“They have shown flexibility, and they have been businesslike and professional in our dealings with them in this effort,” Horne noted. “This is a positive first step.”

Jen Psaki danced around a direct answer, per usual, and found very elaborate ways to say that the Democratic party believes in negotiating with terrorists.

Psaki simply reiterated the ‘celebration’ of the ‘returning American citizens who wanted to leave Afghanistan.’ She says it as though people are willingly like, ‘nahh, I like living in close proximity to the Taliban, it’s fine.’

Remember when the media went bat$hit when former president Donald Trump stated Russian President Vladimir Putin was a strong leader? Trump simply stated that Putin has strong control over his country and that he’s a stronger leader than former US President Barack Obama (which is a low bar to begin with).

CNN actually reported “80 Times Trump Talked About Putin.” It’s quite the homework assignment… almost like watching paint dry when you have nothing else better to do with your time.

But, sure, let’s keep talking about how the Taliban, a known terrorist organization, has been cooperative.

At this point, the Taliban being considered cooperative and business-like in comparison to an administration under a demented president… isn’t totally logically inconsistent to say.
