A bunch of protestors gathered outside of the Texas State Capitol to chant, “My body is my own, bans off our bodies.”
It’s a super ironic chant, seeing as they’re wearing mandated masks.
Anyways, the ban is against Senate Bill 8, which is a Texas law that went into effect today, September 1, 2021. The law bans Texans’ access to abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.
I don’t care who you are – no one can convince me that murdering babies in the womb is considered a reproductive right.
If they’re usually the ones denying that it’s even a baby to begin with, using the words “reproductive rights” is logically inconsistent… which still doesn’t come as a shock to me.
Bottom line is – if you think you have the right to kill your unborn child, then a man has the right to not be in the child’s life.
See how that can get a little dicey?
