After Another Outburst, Liz Cheney Could Be Punished Again for Supporting Dems’ January 6 Witch Hunt

Unfortunately, Rep. Liz Cheney continues to support Democrats’ January 6th witch hunt.

“She’s hardly quiet,” Matt Vespa of Townhall writes. “She will chirp to whatever liberal reporter is closest to her. Why? It’s a mystery.”

Democrats do not support her because she’s a Republican and she’s the daughter of Dick Cheney. “It’s her last name that makes it news,” Vespa adds.

House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy has confirmed that he is considering whether to strip Cheney of her assignment on the Armed Services Committee for her recent outburst.

The Hill reported, “House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Thursday did not rule out booting Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from the powerful Armed Services Committee amid a partisan brawl over who should serve on the special committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.”

Pelosi reportedly tapped Cheney after she blamed Trump for inciting the Capitol insurrection.

This was Pelosi’s only GOP pick for the special panel, proving this was not a “bipartisan” probe by Pelosi if all the members hate Trump and Republicans.

Cheney still thinks, for some reason, that this will be a nonpartisan effort. McCarthy is deciding whether to strip Cheney of her assignment on the Armed Services Committee for her recent outburst.

McCarthy is reportedly under pressure by other members to strip Cheney of her Armed Services assignment after the Speaker rejected two of his five picks for the panel: Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Jim Banks (R-Ind.), both Trump loyalists.

TRENDING 👇 Dems Block Bill To Declassify Intel on COVID Origins

So much for transparency.

Democrats refuse to provide Americans with the U.S. intel surrounding the origins of the COVID-19 virus, despite suffering through a global pandemic and crushing the economy. The House of Representatives voted 216 to 207 to block consideration of a bill that would require the Director of National Intelligence to declassify information related to the origins of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

More specifically, Americans want to receive information about any role the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have played in the pandemic’s outbreak. This information has been widely censored by left-wing “fact-checkers” on social media, including Facebook removing our published content during 2020 about the possible role played by the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Earlier this year in May, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed the COVID-19 Origin Act, which was introduced by Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Mike Braun (R-IN). However, liberal Democrats won’t let the bill go any further.
