Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried Wants To Disregard Lowering Flag In Honor Of Rush Limbaugh: “We Will Not Celebrate Hate Speech”

OPINION | This article contains political commentary which reflects the author's opinion.

I mean, coming from the side of the aisle that advocates for the murder of unborn children, I’m not surprised by how heinous they are willing to be.

Which is ironic in a lot of ways, but I shall only bore you with one (gotta save my sarcastic material for other articles, knowwhatimsayinnn?).

For instance, Democrats are the first to violate any and all semblances of respect for those with opposing belief systems… yet they’re the loudest about ensuring inclusion for all.

Watching Democrats just be is a lot like when a toddler tells you where to hide during a game of hide-and-seek, then they act all $hitty about it when they find you.

Yup. The left is very toddler-during-hide-and-seek energy.

According to The Daily Caller:

A Democratic Florida official has told state offices under her jurisdiction to disregard an order from Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to lower flags to half-staff in honor of the late conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh.

“Lowering to half-staff the flag of the United States of America is a sacred honor that pays respect to fallen heroes and patriots,” Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried said in a Monday press release. “It is not a partisan political tool.”

“Therefore, I will notify all state offices under my direction to disregard the Governor’s forthcoming order to lower flags for Mr. Limbaugh – because we will not celebrate hate speech, bigotry, and division,” Fried continued.

“Lowering the flag should always reflect unity, not division, and raising our standards, not lowering them. Our flags will remain flying high to celebrate the American values of diversity, inclusion, and respect for all.”

*AHEM* or… hear me out… we could just not be a major boob. Just a thought.

Raise your level of decency and lower the damn flag.
