Gov. Ron DeSantis Announces Reforms On Election Integrity

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis…aka my personal front-runner aside from DJT for 2024…is taking action to ensure election integrity in the Sunshine state.

Breitbart is reporting on the series of reforms DeSantis is pushing for.

Appearing in West Palm Beach, DeSantis backed legislation that would:

-Address ballot drop boxes

-Address ballot harvesting

-Ban “mass mailing of vote-by-mail ballots”

-Require requests for vote-by-mail ballots to be made each election year

-Require a signature on a ballot to match “the most recent signature on file.”

The legislation would also promote transparency in the counting process, allowing political parties and candidates to observe the signature matching process.

Another HUGE part of the reforms involves ending so-called get out the vote operations funded by third parties.

Counties would no long be able to receive grants from private third-party organizations for “get out the vote” initiatives.

Breitbart News extensively covered donations by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to the Center for Technology and Civic Life, an organization that spent hundreds of millions of dollars on increasing turnout in heavily Democrat areas.

Florida is a huge state rich in electoral votes so it is critical their election integrity is secured. However, we also sorely need this legislation in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Georgia. Actually, every state in the union should enact these common sense reforms. Sadly, we know the Democrats will oppose this tooth and nail.

On a side note, DeSantis also announced Florida will be lowering flags to half-staff for the great Rush Limbaugh. Good call, Governor DeSantis!
