Stacy Abrams, the losing 2018 Georgia candidate for Governor, has been nominated for a Nobel Prize. Why? For her work ‘supporting black voter turnout’ in the 2020 elections.
Abram’s work in getting people to vote comes from her significant defeat in 2018. Ever since her loss, She has been touting the idea that she is, in fact, the rightful governor. (She and Hillary Clinton must get along splendidly).
The old man yelling at the sky down the block– sorry, I mean Stacy Abrahms, claims that votes were deliberately taken from her via voter suppression in 2018. According to Abrams, Brian Kemp (then Attorney General) stopped people from voting by purging voter registrations in order to win his chance for Governor.
I thought Nobel Peace Prizes were supposed to be significant, lifetime achievement type of awards. When did Nobel Prizes become a pat on the back after losing to Republicans and being bitter about it for two years?
If anyone knows, feel free to let me know. I believe I missed the memo.
