Katy Perry Gets Canceled By Liberals Over Tweeting About Reconciling With Family Members After Projected Biden Win

Katy Perry caused quite the stir yesterday when she called for this unknown value to the left… reconciliation. In a tweet after Joe Biden’s projected presidential win, she urged her followers to call family they had been separated from due to the election.

“The first thing I did when the presidency was called is text and call my family members who do not agree and tell them I love them and am here for them. #FamilyFirst. Call your family today. Happy Sunday,” Perry tweeted.

Of course, the left freaked out. Many of them said Trump supporters don’t have a difference of opinion–they have a difference in morals. Really, morals? Perhaps if these people actually took Perry’s advice, they would realize that conservatives are actually a very individualized group of people and not the ‘monolith of white guys in their 40s’ that the left depicts us as.

I am a very politically involved person. I have never met a voter who chose Trump who couldn’t explain why they were voting for him. When I asked about Biden and what policies of his those on the left supported and were voting for, I got the same unanimous answer: ‘Orange man Bad.’ Or they gave me some quote Trump supposedly said according to the MSM, and use that as a broad brush to paint his presidency. Of course, the quote usually isn’t real or grossly mischaracterized and taken out of context.
So much for the supposed calls of ‘unity’ from Joe Biden. Maybe he should condemn AOC’s blacklist ideas or Michelle Obama’s tweet demonizing half of the country. I don’t believe it, Joe, not for a second. Give me a break.
