I remember dancing to Cher as a little kid. She has a great voice, but she’s also an incredibly vocal liberal. Yesterday she hosted a voting rally in Las Vegas along with Representative Susie Lee. She was incredibly outspoken in her support for Joe Biden, as she has been since he began his campaign. But I wonder if she has some hidden reservations because last year she said something conservatives have been saying for years:
I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+🇺🇸Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More

It’s like she just came to this realization and the rest of us are like, “Duh.” So I wonder what she thinks about Joe Biden’s immigration plan.
The Heritage Foundation released a report that says:
“If Biden were to become president, he would return to many of the same immigration policies in place during the Obama administration. This would include protecting and expanding the DACA program, admitting at least 125,000 refugees annually and seeking amnesty for 11 million illegal aliens.”
The report goes on to say:
“Biden would also make ‘Dreamers’ eligible for federal student aid (loans, Pell grants) and debt-free community college.”
The report also notes that the term ‘dreamer’ can refer to the at least 3.6 million illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. under the age of 18 on the date a “Dreamer” bill would be enacted, and not just the 825,000 DACA recipients.
The Heritage Report also describes that a Biden administration would “dramatically increase” federal resources for asylum seekers and would move to increase the refugee cap from 18,000 to more than 125,000.
Maybe Cher decided she didn’t care enough about the issue to move her to vote for President Trump, whose immigration policy stands in stark contrast to Biden’s.
During his first term, President Trump’s immigration policy was two-pronged– Full border security and a merit-based legal immigration system. In a second term, the Trump Campaign says they plan to:
-END ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND PROTECT AMERICAN WORKERS
-Block Illegal Immigrants from Becoming Eligible for Taxpayer-Funded Welfare, Healthcare, and Free College Tuition
-Mandatory Deportation for Non-Citizen Gang Members
-Dismantle Human Trafficking Networks
-End Sanctuary Cities to Restore our Neighborhoods and Protect our Families
-Prohibit American Companies from Replacing United States Citizens with Lower-Cost Foreign Workers
-Require New Immigrants to Be Able to Support Themselves Financially
I guess we’ll never know what she thinks about it because asking such a question would compromise the Left’s narrative.
But the Trump Team sure isn’t concerned about her campaigning for Joe Biden. In an official response to yesterday’s event, the campaign said,
