Adam Schiff’s Obsession With Russia Leads Him To Blame Hunter Biden’s Laptop Scandal On ‘Russian Disinformation’

OPINION | This article contains political commentary which reflects the author's opinion.

Y’all, poor Adam Schiff has run out of material.

For years, all he could talk about was Russian collusion. The day the impeachment papers were signed must have been the highlight of his life. I guess it was a huge letdown to find out it was all completely false and that there was no evidence to the Trump Russian collusion claims. But poor Schiff just can’t let it go. He’s just determined to tell anyone who will listen that Russia is involved. Now that the Hunter Biden emails are being made public, what do you think Adam is claiming? Yep, Russian disinformation. It’s honestly comical at this point. On CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Schiff says that

“Well, we know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin. … Clearly, the origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the president is only happy to have Kremlin help in trying to amplify it… I think we know who the driving force behind this smear has been all along, and it’s been the president and the Kremlin. The Kremlin has an obvious interest in denigrating Joe Biden. They want Donald Trump to win. … He’s been the gift that doesn’t stop giving for the Kremlin, so clearly, they want to help him, so they want to denigrate the vice president. The intelligence community has made that abundantly clear, and this particular smear, though, has also been acknowledged to come from the Kremlin, and there it is in the Oval Office, another wonderful propaganda coup for Vladimir Putin, seeing the president of the United States holding up a newspaper promoting Kremlin propaganda.”

Well, if he wants to talk about false narratives regarding Russian disinformation… Steele dossier, anyone? That was the biggest false narrative about Russian disinformation in history and he just can’t get past it, no matter how much evidence is presented to him.

Aside from the entire Trump Russia collusion hoax being proven completely false and fabricated, the Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe recently slammed Schiff for his repeated statements that the Hunter Biden stories are Russian disinformation and that the intelligence community believes such.

“Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that, and we have shared no intelligence with Chairman Schiff or any other member of Congress that Hunter Biden’s laptop is part of some Russian disinformation campaign. It is simply not true,”

“And this is exactly what I said I would stop when I became director of national intelligence, and that is people using the intelligence community to leverage some political narrative, and in this case, apparently Chairman Schiff wants anything against his preferred political candidate deemed as not real and is using or attempting to use the intelligence community to say there’s nothing to see here. Don’t drag the intelligence community into this. Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”

“This is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign. The intelligence community has not been involved with Hunter Biden’s laptop. Hunter Biden is a U.S. person, and he would be subject to any investigation regarding fraud, or corruption would be rightfully the jurisdiction of the FBI. So, the FBI has had possession of this, and what I can say without commenting on any investigation that they may have in corruption or fraud — is to say that their investigation does not center around Russian disinformation, and the intelligence community is playing no role with respect to that,” Ratcliffe said. “Adam Schiff saying that this is part of some Russian disinformation campaign and that the IC has assessed that or believes that is simply not true, so I appreciate the opportunity to be able to tell the American people that that is the case.”

Interestingly, the Biden campaign has not denied the allegations made in the bombshell stories published about the Biden family, saying only:

“their own recollections as well as a review of Biden’s official schedules, sharply rejected the Post’s suggestion that Biden met with a representative of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings in 2015.”

The campaign later admitted they:

“would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with Pozharskyi, which wouldn’t appear on Biden’s official schedule.”

Y’all, Schiff is so obsessed that he even fell for a Russian prank call claiming to have naked blackmail pictures of Donald Trump. Of course Schiff claims he never fell for the radio pranksters, but emails show that Schiff went as far as arranging to send his staff to collect the “classified” documents for the FBI and audio of the call reveals his gullibility.
