Former Vice President Joe Biden shared some words with an audience in Miami that are… appalling at best.
Even the game of limbo doesn’t go this low.
He stated, “Wouldn’t it be an irony, the irony of all ironies, if on Election Eve, it turned out that Haitians delivered the ‘coup de grâce’ in this election?”

Joe Biden is literally hoping for the demise of President Donald Trump via a final death blow. Please, go on and tell us exactly how that would be ironic. I’m sure your listeners would love for you to reveal more of your true colors as you talk yourself into a spineless, hostile hole.
The term “coup de grâce” means “a death blow or death shot administered to end the suffering of one mortally wounded,” according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
Another meaning is “a decisive finishing blow, act, or event.”
As he spoke, Trump was still receiving treatment for coronavirus at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, though he had recovered significantly over the past weekend.
Biden was speaking at the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami on the last day for voter registration in Florida.
At one point, apparently trying to impress his audience with a turn of phrase in French.
Doesn’t sound like a practicing Catholic to me, like he so loves to state that he is.
I’d even go so far as hoping that Biden meant that the Haitians could deliver the final blow to Trump’s reelection if Biden were to win Florida, as opposed to a literal bullet to the head, but after witnessing Biden’s usual blithering fits, I just can’t say for certain.
All in all, definitely a poor choice of words.
